SPONSORSHIP Program

Hello Everyone,
It is that time of year again, hard to believe how fast time flies! This year will be the 51st almost annual Eastern New York Poultry Association Show. With everyones help we will make this another great show. The judges have been selected for this years show. Jeff Halbach, Brian Knox, William Post, and Earl Vanwormer will be judging this years show. The show hall has been rented; ribbons and trophies ordered. We will be sending out the show catalog in late August. Or you can download one off the website here.

Some people call this my pity letter but without your continued support this show would not continue. The cost is roughly $3,500 for the day. Between the fairgrounds, insurance, garbage fee, water usage, and the cost of having a food vendor. The judges, rooms, ribbons, showmanship awards, plaques and miscellaneous expenses all add up quickly. Postage, printing costs, shavings and some of the feed for the show is also a cost. Anyway, with that said this letter is really meant for someone to do a special award. Whether it be in memory of that special person who got you started in this great hobby or in support of your favorite breed. Every little bit helps make this show one of the best. I like to say this show is put on by the exhibitors for the exhibitors in hopes to keep this hobby going. Last years show will be hard to top with perfect weather and a wonderful turn out. But with your continued support we will do our best.

-Jamie Matts
